Handling of Furlough Status
A. When it is necessary to recall an employee from furloughed status, the senior furloughed trainman within the Salina Hub will be recalled and assigned to a permanent vacancy in accordance with the terms and conditions of the controlling collective bargaining agreement.
B. An employee who is recalled from furlough status, but fails to report for duty in accordance with current agreement provisions will forfeit his or her seniority.
